I have a TP Link mesh system, and I am having trouble with neighbors knocking cameras, tvs, tablets and everything offline with some form of DOS. I was wondering if I purchased a firewalla gold would this solve the issues I am having? At least with causing my network to buffer frequently. This is becoming quite annoying.

  You need to figure out how your neighbor is knocking out camera's. Are they doing it at layer 2 (disturbing your wifi)? or they send packets to your router ... if they are doing the later one ... how they find your IP?

  So depends on the attack ... firewalla may or may not be useful. But at least it gives you some visility like
