Unifi Devices wont adopt in FWG Unifi Docker

I was able to get the Unifi Controller up and running the Docker Container in FWG.

I have a Unfi 24 Port POE switch that has been set to factory reset.

I have created a VLAN 1 port with DHCP enabled with the switch connected to it and I have setup a straight LAN with DHCP and neither port configuration is allowing the switch to see the controller.

I am able to ping the controller from the subnet I created for the switch, but they are not showing up on the controller.

I have setup the DNS record as stated in the directions so it can resolve to http://unifi:8443 8080 8843

Any Help would be appreciated.

  What do you mean the switch can’t see the controller? There is a well known issue with UniFi that you may have to tell the device how to find the controller. https://lazyadmin.nl/home-network/unifi-set-inform/

  I am aware of the set inform command in the SSH console.  The problem is that the firewalla is not handing out a DHCP address for the switch, thus not allowing me to SSH into the switch to run the command.

  Is it not possible to set a static IP on the switch before adding it to the unifi controller?
  
  Example: (Change the IP address in the example to what your internal LAN is configured.)
  Router internal LAN/Gateway IP: 192.168.0.1
  DHCP Range: 192.168.0.50 - 250
  Subnet: /24 (255.255.255.0)
