I have the NIC port from the fiber ONT plugged into port 4 on the Firewalla gold. I have a static IP from my ISP. The app finds the FG, I scan the QR code, select router mode, enter the info provided by my ISP, but it fails every time saying there is no internet access. My ISP can see the device connected to the ONT from their side.

  Couple most common problems

  1. Did you reboot the modem (I assume this is ONT) before pairing? some modems remember their old pairing and not allow anything new until reboot.

  2. Does your phone doing the pairing have internet access? You can connect to LTE to complete pairing if you don't have access
