Switch not recognised in Devices list

Hello

First of all I would like to thank you for this fantastic product. We run Firewalla Gold Plus in router mode. Behind Firewalla is a TP-Link 24port switch. All the devices connected to the switch are in the devices list, not so the switch itself. Why?

  Is it a managed switch? Dumb switch may not request IP from router.

  If it's a managed switch, does it get IP when it's connected to other router? Another possibility is if the managed switch is configured to use static IP before connecting to Gold Plus, it will not request IP from Gold Plus, thus not listed in device list.

  Okay, dumb switch doesn't have IP. A pure layer-2 device :)
