Norton 360 VPN and Gold box... will they play nicely together?

Hi all,

Looking through the user's manual concerning 3rd party VPNs, I only find specific VPN services listed (ExpressVPN, SurfShark, NordVPN, etc).  Is this an exhaustive list or will the Gold box work with other VPN providers?  I ask because I have Norton 360 installed the Windows boxes in my network (for the antivirus), and use the VPN connection on each of them.  That does nothing for the Linux boxes.  It occurred to me that as long as I am paying for the Norton suite (of which VPN is a part), I am hesitant to pay for another VPN service.  Thanks!
