Firewalla gold - synology nas (blocking itself?)

I have a firewalla gold acting as a router. My synology NAS (plugged directly into the router) has hundreds of thousands of blocks (from the box IP itself - to and from) within a very short time period (~30 minutes). It seems to be coming and going to the synology unit itself. Firewalla says it is blocked by "IP Filtering". Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or are having the same issue.

  Need some examples; is your device open to the internet? do you have regional blocks or any policy set on that unit?

  I ended up factory resetting my device. I put everything back to how it is and doesn't seem like I'm having the same issue anymore.
