Re-Pair Remote Firewalla?

Hello everyone. Just realized that I might have an issue on my hands of managing a remote Firewalla. I have a Gold here at home and I recently sent a Blue to my father that lives 600 miles away. I switched over to a new phone and I already factory reset the old phone. Now I realized that I have no idea how to be able to re-pair my new phone with the Firewalla Blue that is many states away. Is there a way to do this without being physically on the same network as the FW Blue? I had him send me the QR code from the bottom but I'm just not sure it will pair without me being there? Can this be accomplished? Any help is appreciated.

  The best way is to have someone near the blue pair with it first and then share the pairing with you.  This is the only way besides go there physically.  The restriction is there to ensure your unit can not be operated without permission

  Will them pairing with it remove the existing configuration?

  No, it is safe to pair as many times as you want.

  Pairing only says the phone can manage/talk to the Firewalla Box.
