Anyone use a FWG with a Xiaomi router?
I got a Xiaomi AX6000 router meshed to two other Xiaomi routers (one 3600, one 1800). I love the Xiaomi's performance and price!
Anyway, I go to hook-up the FWG and it says to put the router into AP or Bridge mode, well unfortunately when the Xiaomis are used in a mesh configuration they don't support AP or Bridge mode so I had to setup the FWG in DHCP mode. It's ok but it knocked two of my outside security cameras offline as well as two of my internal Alexa-enabled devices. I guess their "default rule" has something in it that killed the devices. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone is using the FWG with Xiaomis and got it to work in Router mode.. right now all I get is reporting from the FWG and not a lot else.. I've got an new Xiaomi AX9000 on order to be my main router and will use the existing AX6000 as yet another mesh node on my network so I'm pretty heavily invested in Xiaomi and therefore not likely to move to something else just to make the FWG happy. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks!!

If you want the best experience, you will need the routers to be in AP/bridge mode.
If this mesh can't be in AP/bridge mode, there is a small "workaround" we did with Google Wifi, I think it may work. In theory it should also work for Xiaomi. https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048869274-Firewalla-Gold-Tutorial-Google-Wifi-or-Nest-Wifi-Mesh-network-with-Gold-Beta-
But in general, if you get a mesh, make sure it has AP/Bridge mode in mesh, it makes life much easier.
