Laptop showing as "Device is Offline" Even when it's Online

A Mac laptop at home is showing as offline even when it's connected to the internet.  Has anyone faced and resolved this issue?  Would be great to hear from others.  I have the Firewalla Blue in place.  Thanks.

  tap on devices, find your laptop, and then tap on it, look at the MAC address.  Then go to your laptop and see if it has the same MAC address.  

  • we often see MAC address get obscured through randomization 
  • and also done through extenders.
