I created this script several months ago and have it up on my Github, but never posted about it because I wanted to verify it didn't cause any issues after new releases and other updates. After having it configured for several months and not having any issues, I figured I'd post about it here since it might help someone else out. As I note in the readme, I'm using this with my APC BX1000M-LM60 UPS and Firewalla Gold.

  Thanks for this. I used your script to connect my FWG to my already running apcupsd on another server. Very nice!
