Disable Auto Update?

There are a few places that check for updates, but I think that's the main one. If you do that, it is likely you will run into operational issues if the app and the base code are out of sync.  Worst case you may need to reset the unit, in case it goes to a strange state.

<warning> having the box auto-update will always ensure you have the latest fixes and patches.  Stopping the box from doing that may be a security risk.  </warning>

Thanks and understood.  Finding the right balance between stability, security and staying ahead of things that may be out of your (and my) control such as possible supply-chain attacks against Ubuntu/github repos, etc... can get tricky.  Appreciate the help!
