Xfinity XB7 + Limited DHCP = No Monitoring?

The XB6 and XB7 works in DHCP mode, and since they can't really turn off DHCP services, you will need to limit the number of IP addresses on the XB6/XB7, hence the LIMITED-DHCP mode.  (it is a configuration on the XB6/XB7)

As of ipv6;  DHCP mode doesn't work if ipv6 is enabled on your router, so you will have to disable ipv6 on the router side.

I am sorry but you apparently did not read my post completely.

I cannot disable IPv6 DHCP hence the question about when a fix for this is expected.

Based off your response, I am assuming there is no monitoring at all if IPv4 is DHCP from Firewalla but IPv6 is DHCP from the router. Is this this accurate?  If so then my Firewalla is useless with the Xfinity XB7 router.

If you can not disable ipv6 on the router, then you will have ipv4 traffic monitored only.   Firewalla won't see the ipv6 traffic.

Most of the routers do allow turn off ipv6, if not, try to call your service provider and see if they have a way.
