Zombie processes use very little system resources, the only negative thing they have is eating up a PID.  So unless you have a lot of them, you should not worry.

Zombie processes still running on a system that is suspected of compromise... OK. Those should fine since they are not using a large number of resources. How much resources does a DNS server use on the system?

But I keep having my SSL broken. I get redirected to fake webpages on a regular basis... and the people on those webpages all sound like you. Dismissing what can be a very real threat for a reason that makes little to no sense. Quite the opposite of what a security research organization should be doing.

Wow, it's disappointing that it's 2 years since this was posted and nothing has been added. As I've been looking, it seems like the two things you see, I have on mine as well. I think they are firewalla processes, the overlay being the system that runs in memory for handling DNS and other system functions. But, I'm still trying to confirm that. Firewalla?
