Can't connect to firewalla from one Windows device

    Some other data points, the network topology looks like this

    (FiOS ONT) --eth--> FWG --eth--> switch --eth--> windows 

     

    Windows gets its IP from FWG DHCP server with reserved address 192.168.1.50

    Can you check your windows firewall and see if it is blocking anything?

    I turned off the Windows firewall.  It's very strange.

    Well, it was definitely windows being stupid.  I think it was an unused but misbehaving VPN client.  I reset the network settings and deleted several VPN related network adapters and it's working now.

     

    Hooray for FWG VPN client :)
