Firewalla and Apple Macs

Hi - I just recently got a firewalla. I attached it to my google router (I have google internet) and it started identifying devices.

it identified 40+ devices including apple, android Windows and other misc devices. The issue I have is when I add a block (like to youtube) it does not work on apple devices.

Any advice?

  Which firewalla do you have? and which mode you are running? 

  1. If you are running in simple mode and you have ipv6, tap on the + and enable ipv6.

  2. If you are running dhcp mode, make sure your router ipv6 dhcp is also off.

  3. For apple devices, make sure you pick the right device. iOS 14 likes to change MAC addresses ... (or turn the mac randomization off)
