I have 10 static ip addresses delivered to me by fiber modem.
I would like to have the Firewalla Gold stop all unsolicited inbound traffic except for port 80 and 443 for each ip address.
Is the Firewalla Gold the right tool for the job?
My service provider tells me the subnet mask should be 255.255.255.24. Firewalla Gold says that is incorrect and wants me to use 255.255.255.0. It works when I use that subnet. Thoughts??
I currently have the Firewalla Gold working where I tell it my default gateway is 18.104.22.168 it also wants an ip address. Why does it want the gateway and an ip address?
Currently the Firewalla is providing DHCP to my test computer and it works.
Am I correct in thinking that I should turn off Firewalla Gold DHCP when I set up the webservers on the 10 static ip addresses? I guess there is no NAT routing at that point??
