Firewalla Gold Plus - iPhone and Paypal

I use 2FA on paypal - when I have my iPhone in my network on wifi it logs me in and takes me to the 2FA screen where it will send a text - only that screen doesn't come up. The attached image is what I see:

 

 

I went into flows and watched my phone and saw the following:

 

 

So I created a rule to allow bi-directional traffic to the Paypal target list:

 

And no dice.  I turn off wifi and use the cell service:

 

comes up right away - any ideas?

  I am currently hitting this and the workaround doesn't appear to be helping. Is this still a problem for folks? I would have guessed this would be fixed in Firewalla update already also so I suspect I might be hitting a slightly different issue. I am on box version 1.9760 + 1.55 app version.

  Are you using VPN? have you tried access Paypal outside of your home network?

  Yeah if I disable WiFi (on phone) I can immediately get 2FA and login. I have VPN setup but not actively connected.

  Check the DNS server you are using; if you are doing any kind of filtering, you should turn it off.  (if you are using unbound, change that back to ISP default.) 

  If changing DNS does not work, are you on a public or shared network? if you are, likely IP there may be black listed.
