Cannot access ONE PARTICULAR DEVICE over VPN

So I have a media server on my LAN that until recently has been available to users of my VPN. Now, I can no longer access the media server over the VPN though I can ping other devices on the LAN from the same network just not this media server and I've confirmed through the local firewall on my media server that ping requests are enabled.

all hops on a traceroute  timeout

any advice would be much apprecaited.
