    In particular, are there any logs that I can access to help troubleshoot?

    Logs are available in the Android app. I don't believe they are available from the iOS app.

    Thanks David, i've since found the logs in the menu of the iOS app, but from the first screen (where the firewall box is shown) not from the dashboard screen.  Now to try and decipher what's going wrong!

    I think those are the box logs. They may contain the errors from the VPN Client, but I'm not certain because in the Android app, there is a "Logs" element in the VPN Client page that shows the logs from the last connection attempt.

    FWIW, the Bluestacks Android emulator does run the Firewalla app just fine. You could install it on your desktop computer (Windows or Mac), install Firewalla, pair it as another phone, and then use that instance to view the VPN logs.
