VPN Client trouble connecting to SmartDNSproxy servers
Hi,
SmartDNS proxy have recently updated their VPN server list, so I've needed to update the firewall VPN client settings to point to the new servers.
I can connect to one of the new servers (uk-lon.1ve1.net TCP 80) with the Firewalla client, but NOT to the other server (uk-lon2-smart.1ve1.net TCP 80 - although I've also tried many other udp/tcp ports).
Using my OpenVPN client on my Mac I can connect to both servers using the profiles that SmartDNS proxy are providing, so it does seem to be an issue with the Firewalla VPN Client.
The error I get is 'Failed to start VPN client within 30 seconds'
Can anyone here help to explain what might be going on and how I could solve it? In particular, are there any logs that I can access to help troubleshoot?
Thanks so much
Ewan

Thanks David, i've since found the logs in the menu of the iOS app, but from the first screen (where the firewall box is shown) not from the dashboard screen.
I think those are the box logs. They may contain the errors from the VPN Client, but I'm not certain because in the Android app, there is a "Logs" element in the VPN Client page that shows the logs from the last connection attempt.
FWIW, the Bluestacks Android emulator does run the Firewalla app just fine. You could install it on your desktop computer (Windows or Mac), install Firewalla, pair it as another phone, and then use that instance to view the VPN logs.
