VPN Client not working
Hello,
I wanted to stat this post by the fact that I am a newbe to whatever is related to internet and firewalla. I have purchased a Gold, and I have some problems with many things, but I wanted to start with the first:
My firewalla gold box seems working and filter the traffic, but when I want to try the VPN client on firewalla application doesn't seem to work. I have put all the 3rd party servers from my Nord VPN account but when I activated it on my home I see that still my devices are using the same IP as without.
How come?
I am running in DHCP mode (I suppose, I don't remember where to check this in the app) and the DHCP service is off on my router. I choosed this mode because I don't have an AP. My firewalla gold is simply connected to my router (Delta free S, a French router provider). What should I do?
Thanks
Vittorio

The devices connected to the FWG will not get a new IP address themselves. However, their traffic should exit through the VPN.
When you say they are using the same IP, do you mean the same internal IP address, or do you mean that sites like https://whatismyipaddress.com/ show that your public IP address hasn't changed? Your internal IP addresses should stay the same, but your public IP address should change.

So I live in France, but when from my iPhone I tap on VPN Client and I activate for example my 3rd party vpn server in Hong-Kong, and then I go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ from safari with my iPhone, I still see that I am in France. If I do the same from my Nord VPN application I can see that my location is in Hong Kong. May I need to do something else from the firewalla app to activate VPN to all my devices in my wifi? Is it because my FWG is in DHCP mode and not in router mode?

If your phone's gateway is the FWG, best send help@firewalla.com and ask our support to look at it.
May I know why you are running in DHCP mode? not router mode? FWG is awsome when you run it in router mode.
