Custom Local DNS Entries

Just curious if there's a way to setup custom Local DNS entries?  For example, I have my domain name (which is specified as my search domain), but I want certain entries (ie, server.domain.com) to point to a specific internal IP on my LAN vs. the IP that's in my public DNS Records for the domain.  Just curious if there's a way to do this?

As the Firewalla (Purple) is acting as the DNS Server for my clients, I basically just want the ability to setup a domain with its own DNS records for my local clients.

Open to any/all ideas/suggestions.
