Firewalla WAN port speed (lights) shows input from Motorola MB8611 2.5 Gbps modem as below 1 Gbps
I have a 1.2 Gbps plan from Xfinity, a Motorola MB8611 2.5 Gbps modem, ASUS ZenWiFi AX xt8, Netgear GS108 1Gbps B switch, and a Purple Firewalla. I am using CAT 6 ethernet cables.
My question is, why do I only get 1 blinking light (<1 Gbps) when I connect the modem to the FWP WAN port? I realize the FWP is rated at 1 Gbps but shouldn't I get 2 blinking lights? If I connect the modem directly to the ASUS router (no FWP), I get a 1 Gbps indication and two blinking lights. If I add the switch to the circuit (no FWP), I get dual-blinking lights on both the switch and the modem/router.
This inconsistency has come to my attention as I have been debugging intermittent connection issues reported by the FWP as my ISP (WAN port). The intermittent connection issues stopped when I removed the FWP from my network.

No, that doesn't seem correct.
There may be a way to force the FWP to use 1Gbps for LAN through the command-line, but I don't know what it is.
If I were you, I would reach out to help@firewalla.com for assistance.
