LAN gets IPv6 and Wifi gets Ipv4 address - How give LAN IP4
I have a RaspberryPi on my network with PiHole installed. When connected over wifi, it get allocated an IP4 address, but the LAN cable get an IP6 address.
Despite reserving an IP4 address on the network, it never gets allocated even when the device is rebooted. Why is this and is it possible to solve?

Sorry - I'm on Purple set up in Router mode with a mesh network (Netgear Orbi) connected as an AP. All this is working fine.
Modem > FWPurple > Orbi > Switch (unmanaged) > RaspberryPi
Previously i.e. earlier today, I had the RaspberryPi in the same arrangement, other than I was using the BluePlus in DHCP mode. This worked fine.
Having just changed to the Purple, I now want to change Networking Settings > Primary DNS Server to use PiHole - but want it to reach this over the LAN not wifi.
I'm not sure how to do this without an IP4 address... -
Resetting the network settings on Rpi solved this e.g. example here editing /etc/dhcpcd.conf:
