If you decide to use the same Firewalla license on multiple devices, the oldest device registered with the system will either be cut off from cloud access or be redirected to a development cloud. (The development may request that your unit send debug information) In general, we do not guarantee both devices will work properly. It is your responsibility to understand this.

Pre sales question: Please tell me more about these licenses...
Does a license come with each box (blue, red, or future gold) that I purchase? Are they interchangeble between firewalls types?
What exactly do they grant me access to? Permission to use the software on a firewalla? Your cloud?
1. The license comes with each box, red/blue and Gold. They are not interchangeable.
2. The license is the key to activate Firewalla. More of like permission to use the software.
Please help me understand this better. Why would the OP ask the question in the first place? If each device comes with a license, why would someone want to use the same license on multiple devices? Also, I just wanted to clarify, there are no monthly fees with this are there?
